Big Menu

Big Menu

The vertical menu on the left (generally not visible on mobile devices) and the “MENU” tab on the right are “core” menus.  They do not have nearly as many pages listed as this menu, but the pages that are listed have links that connect to the other pages of the site when those pages are called for by the context.  All the articles and all the subscription offerings can be reached by using the side menus. Using the side menus to access the tutorial sections, you can see the full title of each article/tutorial.  The menu on this page abbreviates the titles, sometimes severely, but you can get complete titles here if you click on the “Free Tutorials” links first.  The vertical menu on the left, with a few additions or subtractions, is the only menu we used for 15 years before we moved to our present location.
This “Big Menu,” differs in that it gives direct access to most of the pages on the site that are currently available to visitors, with no attempt at presenting them in their appropriate context.  Some of the  pages listed on this menu have a necessary context, and using this menu to access them directly may cause you to miss that context.  For example, the vertical menu on the left of your screen and the MENU on the right include a link to The Valuator.  On the page discussing The Valuator, there is reference to a measure of central tendency that replaces “fair value.”  We refer to that measure of central tendency as the “Center of Gravity.”  At that location, there is also a link to the “Center of Gravity” page where there is more information on that topic.  Using the menus on either the left or right side of the screen, can get you to the discussion of “Center of Gravity” when it comes up naturally in the discussion of The Valuator, the only place on the Website where it has relevance.  However, the “Center of Gravity” page is not listed separately on those menus.  If you simply click on the “Center of Gravity” link on this menu without clicking on “The Valuator” first, you miss that context.  If you click on “The Valuator” first, you will get the context for “Center of Gravity.”
Some of the following pages can be opened only by subscribers.  Pages are arranged alphabetically.
